Q. How can I see what is in an Archive collection?

There is a descriptive list for each collection.  The descriptive list tells you where the collection came from, how it is arranged and what is in it.  This is very helpful when you are looking for a specific item in a collection.

  • Open the link for a collection (see list below) and click on Descriptive List at the top of the page.
  • Browse the descriptive list or search by keyword (press Ctrl F and type keyword) to find an item.
  • Each item has a call number on the left, take a note of the call number of the item you want to see.
  • When you contact the Library archivist to make an appointment, give the call numbers of the items you want to see.
