What is the accepted version of a paper?
Answer
The accepted version is the final version of the manuscript, after all peer-review revisions have been made, but before copy-editing, branding and layout have been applied by the publisher. It looks like a manuscript rather than the final published version, but the content should be the same as the published version. You can find an example of an accepted version here: CORA - UCC's Open Access Repository - Open Access @ UCC - UCC Library at University College Cork.
