Does UCC Library have a Seed Library?

Yes, UCC Library's Sustainability team set up a Seed Library in 2025. Initially, library staff brought in seeds collected in Autumn 2025 and the team collected seeds in UCC's Community Garden. We packed the seeds in individual seed envelopes with labels and information about what they are, if they are bee-friendly, edible etc. We repurposed a beautiful wooden card catalogue to house the seeds and Digital Scholarship Studio staff printed signage for us.
It is located on Q floor, Boole Library near the entrance.
