Can Leaving Cert students study in UCC Library?

The 2024 UCC Library Leaving Certificate Scheme will open for applications on 13 May.
Once UCC Semester 2 exams finish in May, UCC Library Leaving Cert students (over 18 only) can become external readers in UCC Library until the end of the Leaving Cert exams.
- Once processed, Leaving Cert students can study in the Boole Library or Brookfield Health Sciences Library. There is no access to CUH Medical Library.
- Study space only - Wi-Fi and PC access are not provided.
- Please note the library closes earlier out of semester, see opening hours below.
- UCC Library is not able to offer Leaving Cert students access during semester time. Study spaces are in demand and UCC students have priority.
