How many study spaces are there in the Boole Library?
Answer
There are approximately 1800 study spaces and a further 600 seats and computer spaces.
Since November 2018 UCC Library has run the Space Hog Campaign to alleviate pressure on students looking for study spaces in the run up to Semester 1 and Semester 2 exams.
Students' belongings that are unattended for over one hour, are boxed to free up the study space.
This is in response to student demand and to maximise the use of study spaces.
