What is the European Student Card?

The European Student Card (ESC) is an EU initiative and its aim is to ease the mobility of students between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Europe.
The ESC is your current Student ID card, with the addition of certain elements to identify it as part of the European Student Card initiative.
In UCC, for the academic year 2019/20, the ESC holographic logo is on the bottom right of all new Student ID cards.
Students with older cards can get the holographic logo on your card if you call to the Student Records & Exams Office or to the Students' Union Reception (54 College Road).
