Q. What can external readers access when they join the library?

Answer

External readers can apply for either Consultation or Borrowing.  Consultation means you can come in to the library, consult material and study.  Borrowing means you can also borrow up to 4 standard loan books at a time.  (See link below for application form and fees.)

External readers do not have access to electronic resources (databases, journals, eBooks) off campus but they can consult them in the library.  You need a log on for a UCC computer to do this, so click Yes on the application form for the question: 'Do you require access to a Library computer for research purposes?'
