These are the loan periods:

| Short Loan (U prefix & yellow label) | 1 week, no renewal |
| Reference (R prefix) | Cannot be borrowed, Library Use Only label |

4 hours, no renewal |
| DVD (N prefix) | one week, no renewal |
External readers with borrowing can borrow up to 4 standard loan books for 2 weeks.
