Q. What does IN TRANSIT mean on the catalogue?
When new items are catalogued it may take a day or two for them to be processed.
The status of the item on the catalogue shows in transit until it has been fully processed and sent to the relevant library section.
Its status is then changed to check shelf.
Ask a member of staff to follow up, if you need a book that is in transit.
