What does "recalled" mean?

- If you have borrowed an item and another student places a hold on it, then the item will be recalled.
- This means that you will not be able to renew it or you may have to return it earlier.
- You will receive an email notifying you of any changes to the due date.
- If you do not return the book by the due date, a fine of €1 per day is charged.
