What is the re-shelving area?

Answer

The re-shelving area is an area on Q+1, Q+2 and Q+3 where recently returned books are taken before they go back on the shelf.

  • It is near the print/copy room on each floor.
  • It also contains books that have been collected from the reading desks.
  • Staff sort the books onto trolleys and then put them back on their "home" shelf.

TIP: If the book you are looking for is not on the shelf, try the re-shelving area.
