How much are the fines on late books?

For standard loan/short loan books, UCC Library does not charge fines for late return unless the book has been requested by another library user.
In that case, you will receive a recall email and your due date may be brought forward. You are liable for a fine of €1 per day if you return a recalled book after the due date.
Four hour loan items like laptops are subject to fines for late return.
Fines are:

The overdue fine is charged from the due date. The maximum fine for a late recalled book is €30.
TIP: Bring back items on time or renew them where possible.
Remember, if you have a fine of €5 or more, your library account is temporarily blocked and you cannot borrow, renew or reserve books.
