The catalogue says 'Check Shelf' but the book isn't there, what do I do?

Answer

 

  • Check on the library catalogue to see if the item is out on loan - you will see a due date if it is.
  • Check the re-shelving area on the floor where the book should be. This is where books are brought to be reshelved after they have been returned.
  • Check the shelves again after a few hours or the next day. Another student may have been using the item in the Library.
  • If you still cannot find it, contact the Library Services Desk on Q floor.
